My love of food started as a taste tester for all the wonderful dishes my mom prepared for me as a child. As I got older I started helping my mom with things like mixing and then chopping and before we knew it we were cooking together.

 

I have always loved discovering new recipes and ways to make food delicious and I created this blog to share that journey with you. The inspiration from the name comes from my South African roots where "lekker kos" translated from Afrikaans means yummy food. Whether you're an avid cook or just looking to expand your culinary horizons a little, I hope you can find something in this blog that will bring you joy.
